I got to come home around 8 tonight, and I don’t have a scheduled time to go back in tomorrow, which is good news. The rationale is that I opted for the phone call support position, meaning that I am not in the office for a set shift, so if anyone gets overwhelmed, or something breaks catastrophically, I am the go to person for that. Which is ok, they have my cell numbers, and it means that I don’t have to specifically be in the office between midnight and 7, which is a time I don’t necessarily work well.

So with Ike tracking in here, it looks like I will be at work all weekend. I have been working a lot recently, and its going to keep happening, but my boss is already talking about hotel rooms and 12×12 rotations so that we have full coverage. I am sure that I will have some time to blog about it though, so we will see about “wall to wall” coverage on my blog too. And maybe even some behind the scene’s action from a news station.
